I don’t think so either. I think he values Jan too much that he would just give her address away to a random stranger.

Also, my apologies for not keeping this blog updated as much as it should be. I have been tracking the Beefheart tag and scouring the internet to try to find more material of the Captain (i.e photos, songs, etc.) that have not been posted here before. I have a little pet peeve of about repeated posts. So please feel free to raid the submit box if you discover any media that has not been posted here before or send me a message if you stumble across any links related to the Captain.
Also, this blog is open to fan art, fictional stories, poems or any stories of meeting the Captain. Don’t hesitate to utilize the submit box. I will add your name to the post to ensure that you receive full credit.

That is a very good question. I’m pretty sure that she’s still alive and well. Just like Don, she probably lives a very reclusive life.
My advise is if you wish to visit her or send her a letter is to attend any tribute shows or exhibitions of Don’s paintings. There may be a source there that knows Jan personally and might be able to provide you with her address, of course that’s if she is okay with visitors or mail.
